Dr. Susan E. Murray
Honorary Principal
Dr. Murray has over 30 years of education experience in the public education system in Canada. She was the winner of Canada’s Best Principal Award and had senior positions as the superintendent at Newfoundland and Labrador English School Board. Dr. Murray is a guest professor at the University of Toronto, Memorial University and senior consultant for the government of UAE.
As a leadership specialist, professor and speaker, Dr. Murray helps organizations by coaching and developing their leaders to build fulfilling and productive workplaces. She supports, guides, and shares the latest thinking and excellent practices with many educators. She helps leaders hone their skills, craft their leadership style, and lead their teams more effectively by conceptualizing a vision, setting a clear direction, and defining actions for results.
Ming Xia, MEd.
Vice Principal
Mr. Xia is a leading expert in English language teaching and learning. He is a graduate from OISE (Ontario Institute for Studies in Education), University of Toronto, with a master's degree in curriculum and teacher development. He has over 25 years of experience in language education. He was a college English teacher, an online learning designer, a teacher trainer in China, and many other countries in Asia. Mr. Xia was the head of the English language and K-12 products in a multinational education company for 12 years in Asia. He helped both private and international schools in implementing innovative and rigorous programs, such as Reading Wonders, Everyday Math, Reading Laboratory. He worked with renowned professors in designing English textbooks and teacher development programs.
Dr. Scott Xie
Principal
As an educational leader, Dr. Xie has over 22 years of professional experience in educational program design and management, talent development and international business development and project management for both academic institutes and public and private sectors in Canada and China.
Dr. Xie is the Head of International Executive Education at the Institute for Management & Innovation at the University of Toronto Mississauga and a member of the President’s International Council at the University of Toronto. Dr. Xie played a very important role for establishing and developing successful partnerships between U of T and the Chinese government, universities, and enterprises.
Dr. Xie got his doctoral degree from Henley Business School at University of Reading which collaboration with Rotman School of Management University of Toronto. His research interests include knowledge transfer, talent development, international business and entrepreneurship. He is guest lecturer for business at Rotman school of Management at University of Toronto.
