Obtaining a university degree is essential in today’s information and innovation-based economy. ALL-STAR PROFESSORS

Prof. Georgopoulos  PhD

George J. Georgopoulos is an Associate Professor at the Department of Economics at York University. He is also professor cross appointed by Rotman School of Management and Schulich School of Business. He received his M.A. and PhD in Economics from the University of Toronto. His academic honors include receiving the Dean’s Excellence Award in Research. He also received the Dean’s Excellence Award in Teaching and being nominated for the Excellence Award in Teaching at the Schulich School of Business. His research on International Economics, International Business,and Multinational Finance and Monetary Theory has resulted in publications in the journals of the Canadian Journal of Economics, Economics Letters, Journal of Economics and Business and International Review of Economics and Finance. He has presented papers at many international conferences, including at the Academy of International Business meetings in Stockholm, Sweden, and the American Economic Association meetings in Philadelphia, U.S.A., and the Global Finance meetings in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. His work in International Economics includes being part of a team of economists from Canada and the EU that worked on a project commissioned by Prime Minister Stephen Harper and German Chancellor Angela Merkel that investigated the costs and benefits of a Canada-EU Free Trade Agreement. His worked has appeared in various media outlets such as the CNN, CBC, The National Post, The Toronto Sun and 640 News. He is a Senior Scholar Fellow at Massey College, University of Toronto. He is also guest professor at School of Finance Shanghai Jiaotong University and Shanghai International Studies University.

Prof. Anjomshoa 

Masoud Anjomshoa is professor at Department of Economic at University of Toronto. 
He has graduated from the Columbia University (He has received an MPhil and two master degrees from Columbia University ), New York, USA, an Ivy League university, with more than 25 years of experience of teaching a wide range of courses in different countries.  This is including 3 years of teaching courses like Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, International Economics, and Economic Development and Growth Theory at Columbia university.   This teaching stream finally led him to win the Wueller Prize for best teaching in the Economics Department, at the Columbia University, in year 2000.  
In the past 20 years, he has been teaching a long list of courses at all three campuses of University of Toronto.  The list is including but not limited to Statistics, Micro and Macroeconomics, International Trade and International Monetary Economics, Environmental Economics, and running the University of Toronto first year seminars at St. George Campus.    
He has also participated in statistical and quantitative research projects using large scale datasets, like annual industry surveys of the Czech Republic and Indonesia, Russian Census Data, Internal survey of Xerox Inc., US Airline Industry large databases, Iran’s Energy Balance sheets, …     
He also worked or cooperated with national and international organizations, like The World Bank, The United Nations Fund for Population (UNFPA), and UNESCO.

Prof. Arifuzzaman

Alex Arifuzzaman, MBA has been teaching at the Schulich Marketing Department since 2015 with a focus on MKTG 6326 Retail Analytics, MKTG5200 Marketing Management and as a past advisor for the 601 Strategy Field Study. He also teaches Spatial Analytics in the Ryerson Geography Department and Marketing Analytics to all fourth year students at the TMU (Ryerson) Marketing Department. He has recently begun teaching Geospatial Analysis to Rotman/JARO students. His specialties are Marketing Analytics and Geospatial Analysis. 
Alex is a Founding Partner of Toronto based InterStratics Consultants Inc. which specializes in advanced and innovative analytics to drive corporate strategy. He has relied upon marketing analytics to determine strategy at many of the largest organizations in North America, Europe and Asia. His focus in on using analytics to drive effective marketing decisions.
Alex holds an MBA from the Rotman School of Management, an EMBA from the University of St Gallen in Switzerland and a BA in Applied Geography from Ryerson University.
